He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Stenz and Bridget Stenz (Head); his parents-in-law, Fred and Marse Hertzfeld; his siblings, Danny Stenz (Donna), Lillian Kappus (Roman Sr.), Margie Gehl (Jim) and Alice Schneider (Leo); his siblings-in-law, Lois Kilby (Gary Sr.), Melvin Hertzfeld and Ray Hertzfeld; his nephews, Lenny, Tony Schneider, Romy Jr. and Duane Kappus; his nephew-in-law Les Karweick; and his niece-in-law Holly Krueger.
He is survived by: his wife Ginny (Ginny); his children, Debbie Doell (Ken), Darlene Pethke (Bob), Denise Anderson (Terry) and Dave Stenz (Brenda); his grandchild Kyle Pethke (Brooke); his great grandchildren, Hyatt, Ashlyn, Rhys and Chloe; his granddaughter Laura Beck (Dan); his great grandchildren, Natalie and Sophie; his granddaughter Lisa Hidde (Scott); his great grandchildren, Elliana and Easton; his granddaughters, Nicole Larson (Doug) and Brianna Stenz (Koltyn Van Handel); and his sisters-in-law, Rosie Hertzfeld and Ruth Ziegler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
