He is survived by: his daughters, Tara Burkhart (Jim), Rachel Osterling (David), Carrie Owen (Travis) and Misty De Groot; his siblings, Kris Van Roy (Don), Mike De Groot and Jon De Groot; his grandchildren, Maya, Ian Osterling, Kyle Karhu, Andi Arrowood, Nathan Miller and Kaeson King; his long-time love Pauline Schierland; and also Josh Mocarski.
