She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Baerenwald and Clara Baerenwald (Herzberg); her son James Gruenstern; her granddaughter Leanne Smith; and her siblings, Doris Behm (Lyle), Harold Baerenwald (Donna) and Allen Baerenwald (Laverne).
She is survived by: her husband Reinhold Gruenstern; and her children, Jean Brandt (Dan Pleshek), Ray Gruenstern (Linda), Ann Tynan (Tim), Nancy Gruenstern (Paul), Ron Gruenstern (Carlene), Terry Gruenstern (Darcy) and Jeff Gruenstern. She is also survived by her 22 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.
