She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Wolter and Katherine Wolter (Schreiber); her husband James DeGroot; her children, Janet Feavel, Patricia Pheifer (Kerry), Charles DeGroot, Mary Kay DeGroot and Mary Beth DeGroot; her grandson Dale DeGroot; and her daughter-in-law Judy DeGroot.
She is survived by: her children, Dorothy Clark, Greg DeGroot (Joan), Tim DeGroot, Margaret DeGroot, Joan LeMieux (Ron), Ann Waller (David) and David DeGroot; her sister Catherine Weber; her sisters-in-law, Betty Wolter and Florence Duca; and her daughter-in-law Suzanne DeGroot. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
