He was predeceased by: his parents, Erving Thoms and Hildegard Thoms (Burt); his wife Preceding; and his brothers-in-law, John Godlewski and Bill Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Shane Thoms (Samantha), Craig Thoms (Monica) and Pamela Westlund (Will); his grandchildren, Brandon Thoms, Evelyn, Ethan Thoms, Reilly and Emerson Westlund; and his siblings, Erving Thoms Jr. (Marilyn), Gary Thoms (Debbie), Karen Godlewski, Carol Walker and Nancy Koch (Daniel). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers or other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund is being established.
