She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Truax and Julia Truax; her husband Norman; her siblings, Edward, Leo, Clifford, Ronald, Frederick Truax, Isabelle Olson, Ann Dehlinger, Lillian Truax and Lily Maass Cummings; her children-in-law, Kathleen Salter and Kenneth Boelter; and also Lawrence Salter.
She is survived by: her daughter Madelyn Margaret (Dennis); her brother-in-law Wally Maass; her close friend Nick; her children, Raymond Salter and Julann Boelter; and her grandchildren, Mellissa Duvall (Matt), John Kolstad (Cindy), Amy Schiltz (Mark), Robin Vandervest (Steve), Chad Olson, Ryan Olson (Michelle), Erik Olson, Kris Olson (Lori), Dana Olson and Ashley Boelter. She is also survived by 16 great- grandchildren and 3 great- great- grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Evanglical Lutheran Church (302 N Morrison St, Appleton, WI 54911). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, or St. Paul's Food Pantry.
