He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ellen of Appleton; his sons, Larry (Karen), Jeffrey (Vicki), Danny (Carrie) and Thomas (Kim); his grandchildren, Miranda (Michael), Justin and Rebecca; his stepgrandchildren, Tony (Tara), Colleen (Billy), Kris and Jadyn; his great grandchildren, Miles and Kingston; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kohen, Ally, Macey, Eleanor, Hayze and Harper; his daughters-in-law, Bethany Mai and Debra Smith (Mai); his parents, Herbert and Marion; his siblings, Alan, Bill, John and Mary; and his great grandchild Jackson. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
