He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen L. Bowers and Ann M. Bowers (Gallagher); his brothers-in-law, Mike Mead, Ted Sewall and Doug Caple; and his close friend David "Buckwheat" List.
He is survived by: his siblings, Tom Bowers (Peggy), Kathy Mead, Pat Sewall (Larsen) and Gail Caple (Appleton); and his friend Kris "Rocky" Schoenrock. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Agape of Appleton Inc, 7 Tri-Park Way, Appleton, WI 54914 and Down Syndrome of Wisconsin - Fox Cities, 211 E. Franklin St., Appleton, WI 54911.
