He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Salm and Violet Salm (Keddell); his daughter Katie Salm; his sister Jean Salm; and his sister-in-law Mary "Tick" Van Heuklon.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Ann Salm; his children, Erin Goad (Rob), Brian Salm and Sarah Seidler-Halwas (Dan); his grandchildren, Damon Salm, Kelsi Salm, Delaney Goad and Mackenzie Goad; his brothers, Robert Salm (Kathy) and Donald Salm (Gayle); his brother-in-law Richard Van Heuklon; and his nieces and nephews, Nicholas Van Heuklon (Genelle), Eric Van Heuklon (Celestia), Laura Hamilton (Scott), Karen Jahns (Justin), Adam Salm, Britne Shelton (Sandy) and Ethan Salm. He is also survived by relatives and dear friends.
