We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2023, at the age of 88, Kathryn A. Cowling (Appleton, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, August Kools and Gertrude Kools (Bellew); her brothers, John and Frank; her half-brother Donald Englland; and her sister-in-law Marlene Kools.
She is survived by: her former husband Bob Schierl; her husband George Cowling; her children, Cyndee Schroeder (Matt), Jennifer Vander Linden (Chuck), Gregg Schierl (Laurie), Gary Schierl (Rick) and Eric Schierl (Anna); her grandchildren, Genevieve Schroeder, Joe Schroeder, Kati Vander Linden, Emily Vander Linden, Anne Vander Linden, Hannah Schierl, Justin Schierl, Adam Quella, Tiffany Verhagen and Amy Barth; and her great grandchild Robert Kools.
