She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Lyle J. Koenig and Alice Koenig (Hinz); and her sister Corrine Hansen. She is survived by: her husband Vern Bork; her son Sam; her siblings, Sharol Jackson of Fort Collins, CO, Wayne (Sharon), Joan Rath (Fred) of Tampa, FL and Bill Hansen (Appleton); her nieces and nephews, Kari, Lynette, Lisa, Shaun, Jodi, Ryan, Tiffany, Fred, Sam and Sarah; and her pets, Maxwell and Baxter.
In lieu of flowers, Karen would appreciate donations sent to WELS African Outreach (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod missions in Africa).
