It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Julia Stimson Appel of Appleton, Wisconsin, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Stimson and Florence Stimson (Stocker); her husband David W. Appel; and her sister Edith O'Toole. She is survived by: her children, George Appel (Antoinette), Janet Snyder (Michael) of Rochester, MN. and Raymond Appel (Marcia) of Townsend, WI; her grandchildren, Shane Appel, Jeri Gruenstern (Chad), Al Snyder, Ryan Appel (Sierra) and Stephen Appel (Heidi Anoszko); and her great grandchildren, Lucas and Brianna Gruenstern.
