With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Juanita L. Makaroff of Appleton, Wisconsin, born in Ashland, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 30, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Hartjes and Alice Hartjes (Ronning); her husband Nikolai S. Makaroff; and her grandchildren, Michael and Nicole Gaudet.

She is survived by: her children, Nikolai T. Makaroff, Theodore Makaroff, Jeanette Makaroff, Melisse Makaroff, Andrew Makaroff and Ludmilla Gaudet; and her grandchildren, Nikolai Makaroff, Ben, Tim, Kate Makaroff, Madeleine Schoch, Gina Makaroff, Kayleigh Wheeler and Joe Gaudet.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Leaven or The Housing Partnership of the Fox Cities in Juanita's name are appreciated.
