He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Rickert (Bosman) and Joseph H. Rickert; his son Rick; his siblings, Anna Mae, Rev. William, Robert, Roy, Richard, John and Thomas; and his son-in-law Robert Sternhagen.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicky Parks (John), Tammy VandeYacht (Kevin), Lisa Ebersberger (Eric), Linda Sternhagen (Glenn Brouillard) and Terri Jo Countney (Jeff); his grandchildren, Desiree', Simone, Reid, Garrett, Bryce, Nikki, Joe, Jada, Daali, Mason and Quinn; and his wife Pat of DePere.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Red Cross or Salvation Army, or if you wish in Joe's honor, visit a friend in need.
