It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Ray Asenbrener of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Asenbrener, and Catherine Asenbrener, Sr. (Steckbauer); his brother Peter Asenbrener; his siblings-in-law, Vernon Fuhrman and Minnie Asenbrener; his nephew Adam Asenbrener; and his great-nephew Jack Paltz.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Mateo, Philip and Celeste; his son Nick; his siblings, Eugene "Butch" Asenbrener (Ellen), Mary Jo Fuhrman, George "Pug" Asenbrener, Jr., Jeff Asenbrener (Amy), Gloria Kratzke (Dave) and Jill Grunewald (Rick); and his nieces and nephews, Diana Moder (Paul), Ken Fuhrman (Terri), Joana Cross (Kevin), Michael Asenbrener (Stacy Wagner), Eric Asenbrener (Christine), Gina Suchocki (Andy), Amanda Septimo (Jesus), Kristy Kratzke, Kerry Kratzke-Day (Josh), Jim Asenbrener (Lanna), Peter Asenbrener (Darla), Angie Schiesser (Jonathan) and Fred Grunewald (Kristin LaFleur). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
