He was predeceased by: his father John J. 'Jack'; his nephew-in-law Paul Snyder; and his cousins, Mary Golz, John Belling and Jean Burmeister.
He is survived by: his children, Ross Notebaart (Jessica) and Katie Notebaart; his grandchildren, Rowan and Briar Notebaart; his sister Barbara Nehls (Richard); his nieces, Jennifer Snyder and Dr. Sarah Nehls; his nephew Paul Nehls (Momi); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Leila Nehls, Ava Rikkers, Jack Snyder and Hale Rikkers; and his cousin Sandy Van Elzen (Bill). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
