He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tessen and Mary Tessen (Jamison); his brother Dennis Tessen; his parents-in-law, James and Dorothy Butcher; his brother-in-law Tom Butcher; and his nephew Ben Weaver.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Butcher; his daughters, Shaunna Tessen and Tara Martzahl (Peter); his granddaughter Elizabeth; his brother Robert "Sam" (Gail); and his siblings-in-law, James, John Butcher (Julia), Laura (Larry), Mary (Tom) and Sue Johnson (Ron). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
