With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Richard Knuijt of Appleton, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Knuijt and Helen Knuijt (Hoffman); his brother Jeff Knuijt; and his brothers-in-law, Leonard "Joe" McIlhone and Kenneth "Ken" Hartung.
He is survived by: his daughter Hope Amber Knuijt (Trevor Berlin); and his wife Lana McIlhone. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel (606 N Oneida St, Appleton, WI 54911). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his honor.
