He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Ahrens and Mary Ahrens (Gerarden); his daughter Dawn Ahrens-Trams (Duane); and his brother Tom Ahrens. He is survived by: his sons, Marcus Ahrens (Amy), Timothy Ahrens (Linda), John "Presh" Ahrens (Jourdyn), Alan Ahrens (Dee) and Greg Ahrens (Jill); his sister Pat Perry (Dave); and his sister-in-law Rose Ahrens. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, many friends at ARC and other family and friends.
