It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Catherine Geenen in Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Braun and Leo Braun; her son Christopher; and her brothers, Norbert and Paul.

She is survived by: her children, William Geenen (Lillie Stewart), Catherine Thrush (Tom) and Robert Geenen (Kate); her sisters, Rita and Marie (Bill); and her nieces and nephews, Ava, Anne, Bryan and Liam.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to LEAVEN, The Parkinson's Foundation, or the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
