He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Young and Beulah Young (Johnson); his daughter Wanda; his brother Johnny; his brother-in-law Jerry Wolf; and his close friend Bill Mack.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Dortman (Jonathan), Jill Penglase (M. H.) and Michael Young; his girlfriend Rose Hornes; his grandchildren, Joseph (Nicole), Fiatoa, Roman, Salem Fiatoa, Sabrina Tully (Matthew), Isaiah Sanchez (Searra), Jack (Kia) and Diana Penglase; his siblings, Kathy Wolf (Chuck), Donalda Brownson, Armella Bloy (Dick) and Bob Young (Judy); his sister-in-law Marion Dietrich; his niece Darlene Bagstad; and his friend Art Amann. He is also survived by many other in-laws, nieces, nephews.
