He was predeceased by: his parents, Anson John Mauel and Magdalen Agnes Mauel (Poepke); and his son-in-law Brian Depner. He is survived by: his wife Ginger Mauel; and his children, Cathy Goehler (Chuck), Michael Mauel (Donna), Brian Mauel (Denise), Jon Mauel (Nancy), Liz Depner, Patrick Mauel (Colleen), Chris Mauel (Chrissy) and Becky Lenth (Tim). He is also survived by many siblings, extended family members, and friends.
