He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Gonnering and Betty Gonnering; and his daughter Margaret Mae Gonnering. He is survived by: his daughters, Charlotte Pinto (Thiago), Rachel Shewieh (Mohamed) and Rebecca Gonnering (Andy Deeren); his grandchildren, Adira Pinto, Ezzadin, Tia and Lujain Shewieh; his siblings, Michael Gonnering (Ellen) and Kim Wooten; his nieces, Ricia Hager, Chelsea Gonnering and Jessica Censotti; and his great-niece Kaija Censotti.
