It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Zimmer Sr. of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Zimmer and Clara Zimmer (Leirich); his parents-in-law, Joseph and Anna Felton; his son Joe; his siblings, Frank (Louise), Leonard Zimmer (Roberta), Geraldine Williams (Phillip) and Dolores Zimmer; and his siblings-in-law, David Sears, Roy Felton, Roger Halbach, Sheldon Brown, Victor Luebke, Donna Felton and Helen Halbach.
He is survived by: his son James Jr.; his wife Esther Felton; his children, Jeff (Teresa), John Zimmer (Debbie) and Judy Kaufmann (Joe); his daughter-in-law Jane Zimmer; his granddaughter Amber Simonds (Mike); his great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Oliver; his granddaughter Angela McEldowney (Luke); his great grandchildren, Theodore, Archie and Jamison; his grandchild Allyson Majewski (Dan); his great grandchildren, Leopold and Anastasia; his grandchild Britney Pagni (Mike); his great grandchildren, Arlo, Zola and Enzo; his grandchild Kellan Popp (Marc); his great grandchildren, Adam and Haley; his grandchildren, Lucas Zimmer (Amelia), Jacquelyn Zimmer and Kaitlyn Lau (Andy); his great grandchildren, Addison and Eleanor; his grandson Timothy Zimmer; and his siblings-in-law, Mike Felton, Elizabeth Sears and Violet Brown-Luebke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
