He was predeceased by: his parents, Norb Voort and Marian Vande Voort (Van Cuyk); his son Bill; his brothers-in-law, Michael De Young and Julian Bezpalko; and his parents-in-law, Irish and Sten Sarrasin.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Sarrasin (Sheri); his daughter Missy Plutz (Kevin); his granddaughters, Kaitlyn (Luke Vanden Elzen) and Nicole; his sister Sandy De Young; his niece Traci Kohler (Stefan); his nephew Scott De Young (Carol); his daughter-in-law Jennifer Vande Voort; his sisters-in-law, Suzie Ziepke and Cindy Knudsen; and his friends, Jim, Joy Lewis, Tom and Barb Schiedermayer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives.
