She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Newton and Violet Butler; and her siblings, Sandra Newton, Everett Newton and Judith Newton.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Jose "Carmelo" Lopez Flores; her children, Jessica Pruess, Richard Hollsten and Gerry "J. R." Voigt Jr. (Andrea); her grandchildren, Dylan Crow and Stephanie Culver (Jason); her great grandchild Jaylen Crow; her siblings, Renee Mahkimetas (Nolan), Eugene Newton, Alfred "Baby Gene" Newton, Whatta Dodge, Mike Newton and Gerald Newton; her foster sister Jennie Katchenakow; and her nieces and nephews, Missy Mahkimetas-Kurkiewicz, CJ Mahkimetas, Scott Kosbab, Tsilos "Jewels" Kosbab, Tammy Swierczynski (Steve), Carol Voldsness (Jeremy), Robert, Angela, Brandon Newton, Corey, Carmeron, Heather Newton, Andrew and Steven Newton. She is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
