He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Gevelinger and Esther Gevelinger (Koehnke); his wife Beatrice Mary McClone; his daughter Nancy Marks (Rich); his grandson Kurt Pierzchalski; his stepfather Joe Smyrneos; his brothers, Walter and Ray Gevelinger; his nephew Rayme Gevelinger; and his niece Sophie Gevelinger.
He is survived by: his children, Sally Heredia, Susan Pierzchalski, George M. Gevelinger, Tom Gevelinger and Lori Gevelinger; his grandchildren, Jillian McGrath (Ryan), Emily Cunningham (Brad), Craig Gevelinger, Dan Marks (Lindsay), Keely Pierzchalski (Brian Smith), Jan Dubinsky (Mike) and Andrea Sueker (Mike); his sister-in-law Dolores Gevelinger; his nephew Randall Gevelinger (Dawn); and his niece Pam Gevelinger. He is also survived by his children, family and friends.
