It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fritz Jilek of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 13, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Jilek and Inez Jilek (Buchholz); his former wife Virginia Schumann Jilek; and his sister Mary Roberts (Dan). He is survived by: his wife Jane Jilek; his children, Debra Jilek, Jeff Jilek, James Jilek (Pam), John Jilek (Robin) and Mary Claire Miller (Buck); his grandchildren, Julie Jilek, Michael Jilek (Rachel), Karen Kerins, Lori Strobel (Ben), Christine Nelson (Cliff), Colin Jilek, Kylie Krombach (Matthew), Katherine Durand (David), Kate Miller and Ben Miller; his great grandchildren, Lily, April Jilek, Virginia, Calvin Krombach, James Strobel and Calvin Nelson; and his brother James Jilek. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
