It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Robert Kempinger (Appleton, Wisconsin), born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burkhard Kempinger and Eleanor Kempinger (Putman); his former wife Evelyn Kempinger (Gereau); and his brothers, Theodore, Ronald and David Kempinger.

He is survived by: his wife Judie Hintz; and his sister Helen Waccholz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.
