He was predeceased by: his parents, James, Sr. Plass and Clarabelle Plass (Tousey); his son-in-law Thomas Hennessey; his siblings, Gwen Rosnow (Jerry), Juanita Krueger (Roland), James, Jr. Plass (Lillian) and Donald Plass (Rose); and his siblings-in-law, George Rotter, Robert Rotter (Carol) and Caroline Hess (Henry).
He is survived by: his wife Marion Rotter; his children, Jeff Plass (Kim), Julie Hennessey and Greg Plass; his grandchildren, Erin Plass (John), Jason Plass (Lara), Elizabeth, Kyle Hennessey and Mila Plass; and his sister-in-law Janet Rotter.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
