She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Mericle and Anna Mericle (Birling); her husband Gordon Remter; and her siblings, Edna Derkes, Beverly Klinker, Darlene Senner and Gilbert Mericle.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Leidig (Don), Steven Remter, Cheri Castellion, Denice Remter and Dawn Conner; and her sister Mary Vande Burgt. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
