It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald D. Day in Appleton, Wisconsin, born in Erie, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 20, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Ignatius Dobrzynski and Clara Dobrzynski (Konkol); his wife Anne Day; and his son-in-law Warren Pierson. He is survived by : his children, Roberta Selle (Nate), Diane Luttmann (Mike), John (Jeanne Laux), Kathleen Hyman and Darcy Pierson; his grandchildren, Melissa Petersen (Kyle), Amanda Hyman, Andrew Pierson and Lauren Pierson; and his great grandchildren, Vincent and Cora Petersen.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (500 W Marquette St, Appleton, WI 54911). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Don's family, a memorial will be established at a later date.
