He is survived by: his parents, Gerald Engel and Lucille Engel (Modl); his godmother Dorothy Giesen; his siblings, Mary Jean Roovers (Karl), Mark Engel (Lynn) and Steven Engel; his nieces and nephews, Faustine Engel, Miles Engel, Laura Looker (Arhen), Gabrielle Engel, Emily Roovers, Elizabeth Roovers, Samantha Roovers (Tom Johnson) and Christian Roovers (Caitlin); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isabelle Cherny, Arlo Geiser, Micah Shields, Koda Shields, Cassidy Roovers, Waverly Roovers, Teagan Engel, Finnean Looker, Elliott Looker and Griffin Looker. He is also survived by brother and a good son and "Uncle Dave" to his 8 nieces and nephews and 10 great-nieces and nephews.
