He was predeceased by: his parents, Maureanus and Lucille (Van Gompel); his brother Dennis; his sister-in-law Bobbie; his parents-in-law, Elaine and Dale Gauthier; and his granddaughter Savannah Lynn Otis.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn (Gauthier); his children, Amy Vanden Wyngaard, Jodi Otis (Darrin), Kirk Vanden Wyngaard (Jennifer) and Tyler Vanden Wyngaard (Kirsti); his grandchildren, Bree, Bailey, Ben, Alison, Kaitlyn, Jake, Audyn, Clark and Jones; his siblings, Rick (Laura), Tom Vanden Wyngaard (Julie) and Susie Kain (Rick); and his brothers-in-law, Keith (Carrie), Pat (Sally) and Mike Gauthier. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
