He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Fuerstenberg and Bonnalyn Fuerstenberg (Fletcher); his parents-in-law, Robert and Irene Engelbert; his brother-in-law Edward Engelbert (Butch); his sister Barbara; and his brother-in-law Ben Glisczinski.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Engelbert; his children, Carl (Lori) and Carin O'Rourke (Mike); his grandchildren, Sara (KJ), Andrew (Chloe), Caleb, Joshua (Kristy), Daniel, Catherine, Reyna (Bruce), Autumn and Alex; his brother Jerry Fuerstenberg (Betty); his siblings-in-law, Joanne Engelbert, Ronald Engelbert (Diane) and Donald Engelbert (Charlene); and his nieces and nephews, Susan (John), Perry, Peter (Patty), Jeff, Becky, Lori (Dan), Joey, Todd (Jaquelyn), Beth, Greg, Tricia and Matthew.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Parish (312 S State St, Appleton, WI 54911). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (312 S State St, Appleton, WI 54911).
