With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Christina Spence of Appleton, Wisconsin, born in Sherwood, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 3, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Eckes and Anna Mary Eckes (Horn); and her husband Loren Spence. She is survived by: her children, Rhonda Spence, Barb Hitt (Ray) and Jeffrey Spence (Gail Novitske); her grandchildren, Jacob Spence (Eileen) and Emily Spence (Jordan Phillips); and her stepgranddaughter Jessica Novitske (Mitch Krueger).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
