It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen F. Bolwerk of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 31, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Rohm and Doris Rohm (Holcomb); her husband Gerald H. Bolwerk (Jerry); her siblings, Dean, Dale Rohm and Verda Maynard; and her siblings-in-law, Melvin Maynard, Willard, Ted, Jim, Clair Bolwerk, Bill Van Hout, Fran, Judy and Mary Bolwerk.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Bolwerk (Mary), Tim Bolwerk (Mary), Marsha Hielsberg (John), Curt Bolwerk (Julie), Cal Bolwerk (Jackie) and Gregg Bolwerk (Sue); her grandchildren, Amanda Van Dera (Jeremy), Jennifer Hobbs (Eric), Peter Bolwerk (Victoria), Nathan Bolwerk, Ben Bolwerk, Sara Baxter (Jason), Lisa, Josh Steckling (Alicia), Lindsey Henke (Brandin), Sam Bolwerk, Bailey Tammen (Tom), Jacob Bolwerk, Heather Maoz (Eitan), Brooke and Ryleigh Bolwerk; her great grandchildren, Elaina, Mila Van Dera, Eloise, Josephine, Eve Hobbs, Cora Bolwerk, Marissa, Jackson Esser, Rheia Steckling, Landon Henke, Drew, Miles Tammen, Kendra and Tucker Maoz; her sister Lori Krueger (Jim); and her siblings-in-law, Leah, Nancy Bolwerk, Julie Van Hout, MaryJo Lamers, Darlene Rohm, Joe and Roger Bolwerk. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
