He is survived by: his wife Linda Butzen (Nelson); his children, Carl IV Butzen (Kelly Hauschildt) and Karen Shamion (Bruce); and his grandchildren, Sarah, Levi, Katie Butzen, Lauren and Bryce Shamion.
