She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Spoerl (Fox) and George Spoerl; her husband E. Gerald Thiel (Jerry); and her siblings, Mary Spoerl, Bernette Hurley, Mary Lou Young, Thomas and Vincent Spoerl.
She is survived by: her son Marty Thiel (Brenda); her grandchildren, Macaire Hulderman (Chase) and Millaine Finch (Josh); her daughter Jennifer Bogenschutz (Mike); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Specht and Brad Bogenschutz (Sarah Dworak); and her great grandchildren, Katherine, Henry, John Specht and Graham Hulderman.
