He was predeceased by: his parents, Antone Barth and Vanda Barth (Wenzlaff); his siblings, Earl, Elmer, Robert Clark, Clifford, Kenneth, Ronald Pahlke, Myra Lau, Jeanine Rosenthal and Jo Ann Ratelle; and his grandson Jeremy Vander Zanden.

He is survived by: his wife Lois Krueger; and his children, Jean Brandt (Gary), Joan Hojan (Gene), Gary Barth (Jackie), Keith Barth (Kelli) and Kevin Barth. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
