He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Krostag and Alice Krostag (Johnson); his parents-in-law, Howard and Ardis Cordts; his sister Ann Eernisse; and his siblings-in-law, Denise Krostag and Mike Cordts.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cordts; his brothers, Eddie Krostag of Sheboygan, John Krostag (Carla) of Oostburg and Jim Krostag (Jill Scholten) of Oostburg; his brother-in-law Ivan Eernisse (Nancy); his nieces and nephews, Mike Eernisse, Amy Eernisse-Liang (John), April Schramm (Joe), Tony Krostag (Kristin), Alison Krostag, Helen Bell, Jan Eernisse (Patty) and Jamie Eernisse (Heidi); and his friend Willie. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (118 S 8th St, Oostburg, WI 53070).
