He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Godager and Nina Godager (Weis); his brother Larry; and his granddaughter Melissa. He is survived by: his wife Carol B Godager; his children, Bonnie Lewis (Royce), Cora Monteen (Gary), Rick Godager (Roxane) and Nigel Ramos (Linda); and his friend Brian Schoen. He is also survived by neighbors, and many other friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Disabled Veterans of America or the dialysis center in Antigo.
