He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Fritsch and Bonnie Fritsch (Purdy); his parents-in-law, Ronald and Patricia Hansen; and his brother-in-law Rodger Hansen.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne (Hansen); his daughters, Dori Howard of Antigo and RyAnn Filbrandt (Ryan) of Antigo; his siblings, Cheryl Vehrs (Bill) of Rib Mountain, Rick Fritsch (Nancy) of Antigo and Cindy Brittenham (Terry) of Deerbrook; his grandchildren, Nathan Howard (Sadie Burkart), Kaelee Howard, Brandi Howard (Austin Rekow), Nicholas Howard and Luella Filbrandt; his great grandchildren, Sunny, Daisy and Easton; and his sister-in-law Denise Hansen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
