With solemn reverence, we commemorate Mary Ellen Converse of Antigo, Wisconsin, whose life came to an end on January 23, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Schreurs and Emma Schreurs (Stadler); her husband Richard Converse; her son Patrick; her daughter-in-law Linda; her sisters, Nancy and Phyllis; her siblings-in-law, Pat Anderson, John Zoern, Rodney Hix, Sidney Nowinsky and Carl Anderson; her nieces, Robin Nowinsky and Judy Dedic; and her nephew Ross Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Camille Smith (Gary) of Antigo, Stephan of Birnamwood, Carol Mowrer (Todd) of Wausau, Andrew (Linda) of Birnamwood and Matthew (Daisie) of Green Bay; her grandchildren, Jothan, Christopher, Holland, Jesse, Joseph, Leah, Tammy Jo, Andrew Jr., Anthony, Aaron, Allan, Chad, Michael, Jamie, Sam, Alex, Austin, Jade and Addie; her siblings, Ruth Hostetler (Dean) of The Villages, Janet Nowinsky of Antigo, Thomas Schreurs (Shirley) of Birnamwood, John Schreurs (Joan) of Waukesha and Nicolas Schreurs (Marge) of Three Lakes; and her niece Phyllis. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church-Antigo (415 6th Ave, Antigo, WI 54409). A Mass will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:45 AM at the same location.
