He was predeceased by: his father Richard; his grandparents, Gustave, Gertrude Winter, Earnest and Martha Pitts; and his aunts and uncles, Jack Winter, Ken Henry, Gilbert Stasek, Shirley Henry, Doris Willis and Rosemarie Ziegart (Tony).
He is survived by: his mother Norma; his siblings, Karen Cherry (Michael), David (Keri) and Michael (Maureen); his nieces, Morgan, Maggie Winter and Danielle Cherry Fryer (Jeffrey); his great-niece Lilly Fryer; his nephew Matthew Winter; and his aunts and uncles, Don Winter (Nancy), Jerry Pitts (Linda), Elaine Winter, Mary Stasek and Marvaleen Mullins.
Memorials may be given to the LeRoyer Hospice or "Juvenile Diabetes Association "JDRF" or just say a prayer of thanksgiving for the tremendous amount of research that has been done to improve the lives of young people with this disease.
