James Shafel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2023, at the age of 83, James Shafel (Antigo, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Shafel and Margaret Shafel (Marx); his brother Melvin Shafel; his son Allen Shafel; and his granddaughter Kayla Shafel.
He is survived by: his grandson Markus; his wife Bonnie Shafel (Packard); his children, James Jr. Shafel (Lisa Bretl), Sandra Shafel (Michael Vierzba) of Florence, WI and Michael Shafel (Kathleen Rasmussen) of Antigo, WI.; his siblings, Joseph Shafel, Mary Shafel (Wallace Gelhar) and David Shafel; and his sister-in-law Judy Shafel. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
