Cunningham; his siblings-in-law, John and Lalie Cunningham; his daughter Laura Shidell; his granddaughter Cassandra Borneman; and his siblings, Ralph Burkhart (Carol), Don Burkhart (Eleanor), Ed Burkhart (Joyce), Leona Parsons (Lawrence), Ruth Carlson (Orlin), Paul, Otto and Wayne Burkhart.

He is survived by: his children, Lalie Wilke (Steve), Linda Ramos (Nigel), Sarah Borneman (David), Frank and Floyd Burkhart; his grandchildren, Philip Wilke (Heather), Alainna Kaplan (Max), Stephanie, Elisabeth, Michael, John Wilke, Kattie Borneman (Boe Messer), Kristen, Cody Borneman, Ariel Scheftgen (Eric) and Jordon Shidell; and his great grandchildren, Levi Samuelson, Yaeli Kaplan, Finnley, Rowan Wilke and Travis Duncan.
