Eugene Shank Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Shank of Antigo, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 11, 2024 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Shank and Amanda Shank (Koch); his wife Jeanne Theisen of John's Catholic Church; his siblings, Helen Pecha, Ione Wheeler, Adeline Kieper, Ruby Gresch and Ruben Shank; and his brothers-in-law, Albert Pecha, Eugene Wheeler, Ehrich Gresch and Tom Hunchusky.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen; his son-in-law Jerry Mendl of Middleton; his grandson Nathan Mendl (Keri) of Madison; and his sister Phyllis Hunchusky of Peoria. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peace Lutheran Church (300 Lincoln St, Antigo, WI 54409). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
