He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Matuszewski and Agnes Matuszewski (Walzcak); his wife Dorothy Kohn; his son Brian; his son-in-law Michael Novak; and his siblings, Verna Hruska (Everett), Sophie Spurgeon (Mike), Victor Matuszewski (Dorothy), Cashmir Matuszewski (Helen) and Ignatius Matuszewski.
He is survived by: his children, Dawn Pritchard (Jim) of Oconomowoc, Lori Novak of Antigo, Sherri Difloe (Doug) of Jacksonville, FL, Crystal De Leeuw (Andy) of Oshkosh and Eugene Matuszewski Jr. (Tamie) of Antigo; his granddaughter Jessi Kinney (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Riley and McKenna; his stepgrandchildren, Courtney, Tory, Christian and Isaac; and his brother Anthony "Tony" Matuszewski (Joan) of Wisconsin Rapids.
