He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Smith and Bertha Smith (Lewis); his spouse Bobette "Bobbie" Schutts; his siblings, Gary Smith and Carol Maxine Engel; his nephew Mike Smith; and his great grandchild Adeline Schroeder.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Hubatch (Jeff) of Antigo and Randy Smith (Hayley) of Antigo; his grandchildren, Eric Hubatch (Nicki) of Houston, TX, Ashley Grones (Justin) of Antigo and Ethan Schroeder (Abbie) of Mosinee; his great grandchildren, Sadie, Ian Grones, Harper, Jack Hubatch and Beau Schroeder; his siblings, Tom Smith (Judy) of Neshkoro, Margie Kuehnl of Appleton and Kathy Ament (Al) of Menasha; and his siblings-in-law, Pete Engel of Merrill and Judi Smith of Sussex. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
